Dr. Viktor Ziskin founded Prime Gambit Advisors in 2009, leveraging his broad experience in strategy, quantitative finance and process management to provide tailored solutions to a wide range of clients in the financial services industry.

Dr. Ziskin began his financial career at Goldman Sachs as a strategist on the interest rates desk in New York, where he developed pricing and risk models for a variety of derivative products. Subsequently he moved to the Special Situations Group (SSG) in London, where he started and led a quantitative strategy team directly responsible for $8 billion in assets in Europe and $25 billion globally. In this role he worked with a broad range of asset classes - fixed income, credit products, bank loans, public, private equity and commercial real estate. He oversaw the development of a robust portfolio management and front office risk infrastructure involving all business functions as well as numerous support groups.

His next move was back to New York where he continued to work in Special Situations, now focusing on hard assets -aircraft leases, consumer credit portfolios and commercial real estate. He also oversaw portfolio and risk management for the private equity and alternative energy portfolios.

Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Dr. Ziskin was a post-doctoral fellow at the Institute d'Astrophysique de Paris. He has a degree in physics from Harvard and a PhD. in astrophysics from Johns Hopkins.
